HOLY SKIN TATTOO IN WANAKA
Ever since taking over management of Holy Skin Tattoo Wanaka at the start of 2017 Nathan’s vision for the studio was one of a warm welcoming, inclusive, friendly space where everyone in the community could feel comfortable to come in, hang out & discuss their ideas for the tattoos they dreamed of.
No matter how big or small, without fear of judgement or if other people would think it’s “cool”
If it’s important to our clients, it’s important to us to give them the very best piece of art we can & make them feel like they are very much just as vital to the design process as anything else.
To this day we’re proud to call our “clients” friends & strive to not just create an awesome tattoo but give them the experience they deserve
Nathan took over the management of Holy Skin back in January 2017
After working & travelling to various countries around the world, he was keen to have a studio with a friendly, inclusive, welcoming persona, that was part of the community, where everyone could feel comfortable to come in & discuss their own personal ideas with like-minded artists that were there to help bring the best out of a design & not only give the client what they wanted but hopefully a piece of art better than they had imagined.
Kylie is our resident Piercer/handpoke tattoo artist who specialises in smaller more delicate pieces and areas that are more well suited to handpoke rather than machine. (e.g. fingers, ears) She has a large selection of flash in-shop or online with something for everyone and is open to custom designs with a booking. Kylie’s kind, bubbly, loving personality makes Holy Skin feel like home, not just for her clients but for everyone in the shop. It’s not often that Kylie’s clients don’t come back for more as her art and personality are infectious and impossible to forget.
Drawing from the age of 3, Harry has always had an insatiable desire to create. Striving for excellence Harry puts a lot of himself into his works. A self taught painter, he spends his down time learning about new ways to create and researching artists to help further his career.
Moving to wanaka for an apprenticeship in tattooing Harry leans more toward Japanese and neo traditional designs inspired by artists such as Caravaggio, Hokusai and Mucha. Harry seeks to develop his own style within these genres under his pseudonym,
Ink n etch.
