  • Do you do walk-ins?
Walk-ins are always welcome… when we have availability. However our busy little artists do get booked up so it does pay to make an appointment in advance to avoid any disappointment, especially if you are travelling or from out of town.
  • How do I schedule a tattoo appointment?
All bookings can be made via the handy wee tattoo appointment request form here. (jayme to insert link to contact / bookings form.
  • Do I need a consultation before my appointment?
When we look at your tattoo appointment request form we will decide if you need a free of charge consultation with your artist beforehand. Consultations are a great way for your artist to ask you the right questions to create the perfect design tailored to your wishes. If you are unable to make it into the studio for a consultation we will ask the appropriate questions via email or a quick phone conversation.
  • How much does a tattoo cost?
We charge on an hourly rate for bigger pieces such as fill sleeves, back pieces etc. Smaller pieces may have a set price dictated by the individual artist. We usually would have to have a consultation to work out the design, size, style, amount of details etc. before we could give you a quote on a tattoo. It’s the classic “how long is a piece of string” question.
  • Does the studio have a minimum charge for tattoos?
Yes, the minimum charge for a tattoo is $150 per person.
  • Does a Tattoo appointment require a deposit?
Yes, all tattoo appointments require a deposit of $150 This can be made in cash when you make your appointment in studio or via bank transfer.
  • What if I change my mind?
Any small alterations can be made on the morning of your appointment but any major changes from your original consultation resulting in your design being redrawn will void your deposit. We require at least 48 hours notice to cancel or move your appointment, anything less than this will void your deposit.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash or bank transfer… bringing in fresh homemade baked goods on the day, although can not be accepted as an official form of payment, it is appreciated.
  • Can I see my design before the appointment?
Although we will make every effort to show you your design beforehand, the simple reality is that quite often this may not be possible. If you book your tattoo a month in advance, your artist will have a months worth of designs to get through before they can get to yours, we thank you in advance for being patient with your artist during what is the most stressful part of their job. Rest assured, because of the consultation you had earlier they will be designing exactly what your heart desires.
  • How old do I have to be to get a tattoo?
You must be 18 or older to get tattooed. Unfortunately that’s even with parental consent.
  • Do you do cover ups?
We do …if it is possible. Unfortunately there are a lot of limitations when doing cover up tattoos so the best thing to do is book in for a consultation & we can go over your options.
  • Can I bring a friend with me to my appointment?
We are happy for you to bring “a” friend with you for support, however… we have only a small amount of space in the studio & depending on how many other tattoos might be happening at the same time, we can not always accommodate everyone having a support crew let alone 17 of your closest family & friends. We thank you in advance for being understanding.
  • Do you preform tattoo removal?
No but we can give you recommendations of some great places that do.
